Command Bar Icon Enabled
The Command Bar Icon Enabled checkbox will only be
shown on Palm organizers that are running Palm OS 3.5 or higher.
If you check the Command
Bar Icon Enabled checkbox, you will be able
to pop-up PhoneMagic using the Command Bar.
This is the default setting.
If you
have checked this option, you can do a Command Stroke
to open the Command Bar, and tap the PhoneMagic
icon on the Command Bar in order to pop-up PhoneMagic.
The Command Bar can be opened from any application
screen that contains a menu.
If you want to delete PhoneMagic, and you are using
Palm OS 3.5, you'll need to make sure that Command
Bar Icon Enabled is not checked before you can
delete it.
If you are using a 3rd party Launcher, you might need to
uncheck Command Bar Icon Enabled before you can delete PhoneMagic.
If you try to delete PhoneMagic, and you get an error message,
then you need to uncheck Command Bar Icon Enabled.
On a Treo 600/650, you first need to map the Option
Button combined with one of the application buttons to PhoneMagic.
See the Treo 600 Tips or the Treo 650 Tips
for more details.
Once you've done the mapping, you can pop-up PhoneMagic by
pressing the Option button, and then the specified
application button.
On devices that do not support Graffiti and do not have a
Command Stroke button on the keyboard, this feature may not
be available. On these devices, you can use a 3rd party application
that allows writing Graffiti on the screen (e.g., Jot, Graffiti
Anywhere), and then you will be able to bring up the Command
Bar.
